Dan and I have been toying with the idea of downsizing and moving into a fifth wheel or class A for several years. In 2019, we talked about buying a trailer to live in Southern Utah and work at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
Dan’s mom bought a house in that town so we could have a permanent place to land when we were done with the mobile life. Then, of course, the pandemic happened and our plans shifted.
We moved in to the house in Utah and lived there for two and a half years. We sold the house for a profit and signed a 15 month lease at a beautiful apartment in Cap Hill, right in the heart of Denver.
As we settled in to city life, we pondered what our future would look like. Would we buy a house in Colorado and stay in our current careers? Would we be able to afford anything and still have money to pay the bills? Did we really want to stay in our current careers for the foreseeable future?
Turns out, we both have wanderlust and didn't want the financial burden of buying a house and property in one location at this point in our lives. So, after much research and watching dozens of hours of youtube videos, we are now the proud owners of our 40 foot Thor Outlaw!
Her name is Josey.
